years. Catchy rock numbers and subtle ballads. Imagine Bruce

Bards
A very traditional Irish band. Barney and Jimmy have been entertaining
both Irish and American audiences for over twenty years nationwide
and extensively in the Northeast. |
Athenrye
Ireland's #1 rebel band. Guaranteed entertainment, mixing warm
ballads with rebel rousing anthems. After producing four albums,
these boys only know how to give 100% every night. Returning
to the Half Door as part of their East Coast Tour on Wed., March

Possible the finest Rock 'n' Roll band to come out of New York
in the past ten years. Celtic Rock at its finest. Larry Kirwan
is one of the most poignant singer/songwriter around. After
five albums and touring nationwide for almost a decade, this
band continues to be the "Riverdance" of Celtic Rock. |

From New York, Sean McCabe and his five-piece band mix traditional
Irish favorites with many covers of American Rock 'n' Roll. |
Stand
An up-and-coming Rock 'n' Roll band form Dublin. Currently receiving
rave reviews for their latest album, "No Correspondence,"
in Ireland. Anyone who saw their only show at The Half Door
last November agreed they were the best entertainers for a first-time
show. These boys put the roar in the "Celtic Tiger."

Zunno Band
The best acoustic guitar this side of the Mississippi. Excellent
entertainment and a sure hit with all those who saw them play
for the first time last December. Mixing Jazz & Blues, the
Paul Zunno band deserves all its applaud and more |
Donegal
Express
Baltimore-based five-piece Rock band. One of the most exciting
Celtic Rock bands along the East Coast. The album "Quinn's
Diaries" has been hailed by many critics as the #1 album
of last year. A real eclectic mix of all things Irish. For a
good night out The Donegal Express is a runaway train which
should not be missed. |
AlterNatrad
Celtic rock meets '80s Disco Fever. AlterNatrad
are a fun party band who mix both American favorites with '80s
hits and Irish Rock. Their offerings have something for everyone. |

Originally
from Kerry, Ireland, Mark has been entertaining audiences all
over the East Coast for the past decade. Can play crowd favorites
as well as some of his own excellent material. Also plays in
a duo named The Kerry Boys with Pierce Campbell. |
Pierce
Campbell
A regular performer here at The Half Door, Pierce fuses both
original material with Irish drinking numbers to ensure nobody
leaves without a smile. Acoustic guitar and harmonica prevail
and Pierce also doubles as one half of the Kerry Boys with Mark
James. |
Two
for the Road
What do you get when Counties Galway meets Mayo? John Gannon
and Ciaran Kilkenny mix traditional Irish instruments to take
you back across the Atlantic to the West Coast of the Emerald
Isle. Close yer eyes and you can almost feel the warmth of Inis
Free in their traditional Irish lullabies. Two For The Road
will be playing their first ever show at The Half Door on Friday,
April 6th at 9:30pm. |

This
three person band hails from Springfield, Ma. Playing a mix
of U2, Police and many other crowd favorites. |

Niagras
Words can't describe this New York based band. A cross between
the Talking Heads and Devo, this is an act that has to be seen.

This 3 person band from Boston, fronted by Sean Cunningham,
plays everything from Irish to American music. A real crowd

This band from Long Island bring one of the most unique brands
of Celtic rock that has ever been heard in Connecticut. |
